Bidding & ranking
- The highest confirmed bid leads. All listings share one board. Categories and search filter that board without changing global ranks.
- New listings start at $1. Bids are in whole US dollars, up to $999,999.
- To take #1, beat the leader by at least $1. A raise must add at least $1 to your existing bid.
- Raise the same URL; pay the difference. Your listing keeps its earlier paid balance. Re-entering a URL does not transfer editing access.
- Equal bids favour the time the current bid was set. Matching a bid does not jump ahead of it.
- Target prices are estimates. Other payments may complete while you check out. Each confirmed charge adds to the listing, including overlapping checkouts.
- A spot has no scheduled expiry, but another bid can move it down at any time. Placement does not guarantee traffic, sales or a lasting rank.
- Dodo Payments handles checkout. Any applicable tax is shown there; your card details never reach Usurp.
What is not allowed
Listings that break these rules can be removed. Keep the destination honest and safe to visit.
- Malware, phishing, scams or deceptive destinations
- Adult or explicit content
- Link shorteners and affiliate or tracking-only links
- Private chat, group and invite links
- Impersonation, domain spoofing or misleading redirects
- Hate, harassment or content targeting a private individual
Frequently asked questions
When does my listing appear?
After a verified payment confirmation matches its checkout. The board refreshes every 30 seconds while visible, or you can press Refresh. Returning from checkout alone is not proof of payment.
Can I update my title, or raise my rank?
Pay again with the same URL. It is matched to your existing listing, you are charged only the difference, and the details you submit replace the old ones. There is no key to keep and nothing to log in to.
What happens when I get outbid?
Your listing stays on the board and its rank moves down. Enter the same URL and choose a higher total to climb again; only the increase is charged.
Why does my category still show a global rank?
There is only one market. A listing at #12 overall remains #12 inside its category, and its outbid quote refers to that same position.
Can I bid for a profile instead of a website?
Yes. Enter a public @handle, a website, or a supported product page. URLs are normalized so alternate spellings and tracking parameters cannot create duplicate slots.
Can I get a refund if someone outbids me?
Being outbid is part of the product and does not reverse a completed bid. For an incorrect charge or a missing listing, contact hello@usurp.cc with the payment reference before paying again. The terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Are the public numbers real?
Listing counts come from active paid entries. Bid volume sums confirmed charges. Visitors are browser sessions and clicks are tracked outbound requests, so neither is a verified count of unique people.
I lost my private editing key. What now?
Try the browser used for the first payment, or restore the key you saved. Keys are stored as hashes on the server and cannot be recovered from those hashes. Knowing a URL or buying a raise cannot reset ownership.
