What we store

Public listings

Usurp operates one public leaderboard. We store submitted URLs, display names, categories, bid amounts, payment references, and outbound click counts. Listing details and ranks are public; payment references are not.

Payments

Payment details are entered in Dodo Payments' hosted checkout. This application does not collect or store card details. We send Dodo identifiers for the bid and listing, together with the quoted amount, to match a confirmed payment to a rank. Dodo handles the checkout information under its own privacy policy.

Visitor counts and preferences

A random identifier in your browser's session storage is sent with a heartbeat to count active visits. We store that identifier with first and last visit times. It is not an account or a verified count of unique people. Your theme preference is kept in local storage on your device. A listing is identified by its URL, so we store no login, password or editing key for bidders.

Query strings are stripped from every submitted URL, so tracking and referral parameters are discarded rather than stored.

What we don't do

The application does not include advertising trackers. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; listing icons are requested from Google's favicon service with the public listing domain and no referrer. Hosting and payment providers receive the network information needed to serve their requests. IP-derived keys are also used temporarily for rate limiting.

Removal

To request removal of a listing or ask about stored data, email hello@usurp.cc. Payment records may need to be retained for transaction reconciliation and other applicable obligations.
